If you are looking to deepen and develop your skills, knowledge, and experience throughout your career, then that is what you will get, and more.The OpportunityThe service delivery therefore demands a combination of rigorous project management with clear communication protocols, technical excellence and a deep knowledge of shared service centre operating environments.Main responsibilities:

  • Execute month end close in accordance with US GAAP (journals, report packs and analysis)
  • Record to report services – access operating and emerging markets
  • Profit and loss and balance sheet analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Statutory financial statements in accordance with affiliate local GAAP
  • Maintain appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies and procedures
  • Contribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
  • Maintain ledger integrity and financial compliance with all client procedures and processes and to all applicable laws and regulations
  • Evaluate processes, recommend and implement process improvements through projects or quick wins
  • Interact successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication
  • Ownership of entities under your management, including query management
  • Coordinate issues cross functionally, cross location and with non-finance personnel as required
  • Preparation of monthly operations decks – on time and accurately
  • Provide support for ad-hoc tasks from affiliates and or other functions and as services expand
  • Provide user approval testing support for any system updates
  • Manage outsourced providers to adhere to timelines for key deliverables
  • Tax workbooks in accordance with Company policy – prepared on time and accurately
  • Manage cash flow of the affiliate

Key skills and attributes:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification
  • Strong finance and accounting experience, preferably gained in a multi-cultural, multi-faceted organisation
  • Record to report experience essential
  • excellent attention to detail and resolves issues as they arise;
  • strong communicator, highly articulate with good report writing and excel skills;
  • ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of developments
  • ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Interest in improving processes through technology
