Job description: Are you an experienced Siebel Developer & Administrator with expertise in Siebel Open UI, CI/CD, Agile development, and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP/OAS)? Do you have hands-on experience in customizing Siebel applications, integrating REST APIs, and automating deployments? Our client seeks a Software Developer with strong Siebel development, administration, and customization skills to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Siebel solutions. This role requires experience in parallel development (IP17+), mobile responsive design, and cloud-based DevOps.Advantages

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:
– Developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining and customizing Siebel applications using Open UI, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery;
– Implementing Siebel upgrades and Workspaces in IP17+;
– Developing and optimizing BIP/OAS reports, forms, and templates;
– Integrating REST APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON, and SQL/PL SQL;
– Implementing CI/CD pipelines for Siebel and BIP using GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible;
– Ensuring compliance with AODA standards; and providing thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to team members.Qualifications
Must Haves:
– Extensive experience in Siebel Development and Admin.General Skills:
– Experience customizing applications using Open UI, including a strong knowledge of CSS, JavaScript and jQuery;
– Experience developing for mobile devices / responsive design;
– Experience with parallel development in IP17+ (Workspaces, Migration Application);
– Siebel upgrade experience;
– Strong knowledge of Siebel configuration & eScript;
– Experience modularizing / refactoring code;
– Experience in BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher)/OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) development of forms, letters and templates;
– Experience using GitLab, Jira tools as well as Agile development methodologies;
– Experience in developing CI/CD for Siebel and BIP;
– Experience with XML, JSON, REST APIs, Web Services, SQL, PL SQL, Java;
– Experience in the use of object and/or third-generation language development tools;
– Experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment and troubleshooting;
– Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies;
– Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications;
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills;
– Ability to provide user and system documentation as required and Transfer Knowledge to fellow team members;
– A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines;
– Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards;
– Experience in design, coding, testing, debugging and document applications.Summary
