Job description: The Systems Testing/QA Specialist role focuses on leading the automation testing efforts for projects. The specialist will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing testing processes, utilizing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, Load Runner, and ReadyAPI/Postman. This role demands hands-on experience with cloud technologies, agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated testing of APIs and user interfaces. In addition to functional and non-functional testing, the specialist will also ensure compliance with AODA standards. The position supports system quality through structured testing strategies, integration with software development, and efficient defect tracking.Advantages

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated testing scripts using Katalon, Selenium, UFT, Load Runner, and Postman
• Plan and organize large and small system testing efforts, including GUI and non-GUI environments
• Execute performance, functional, integration, and AODA compliance testing
• Document test plans, scripts, test cases, traceability matrices, and test results
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business teams to optimize testing workflows
• Lead UAT support and perform AODA compliance audits using tools such as AXE and WAVE
• Participate in SDLC and Agile/DevOps ceremonies to support release cycles

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
• Extensive hands-on experience with Katalon, Selenium, UFT, Load Runner 12.5
• Proficiency in API and performance testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, and J-Meter
• Familiarity with test management platforms such as Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps methodologies, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Working knowledge of Siebel, legacy systems, IMS/DB2/SQL/Oracle databases, .NET, and UNIX
• Experience with AODA testing and accessibility compliance tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
