Job description: OVERVIEW: Location: Selangor, Malaysia Department: Commercial Entity: AirAsia Berhad Status: Full-time JOB DESCRIPTION : YOUR ROLE A S: Route Revenue Executive is responsible to optimize flight routes and maximize revenue through effective inventory management and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will actively track market trends, monitor competitor actions, and analyze flight bookings to drive overall revenue performan ce. WHAT YOU’LL CHAMP ION:Manage flight inventory and pricing strategies to maximize reve nue.Actively track market trends, competitor actions, and booking patterns to optimize route performa nce.Segment customers based on routes and offer competitive pricing and product opti ons.Identify, set up, and monitor special events while adjusting inventory based on seasonal and market tre nds.Collaborate with Sales and Group Desk teams to enhance route profitability and market position ing. WHO YOU ARE:Bachelor&aposs degree in an analytical field (e.g., Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance) or equivalent experi ence.1-2 years of experience in Revenue Management; airline industry experience is preferred but not manda tory.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to interpret data and business financ ials.Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Sli des).Ability to analyze flight data, market trends, and revenue perform ance.Background in revenue analysis from hotels, tourism, or related industries is an added ben efit.Numerically inclined with a strong business min dset.A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environ ment. Technical S kills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to interpret data and business finan cials.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Sl ides).Familiarity with Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Airline Pricing Tools, and Data Visualization Software (Tableau, Power BI) is pref erred.Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strat egies.
