This role supports the day-to-day operations of client branches and ensures staffing and payment accuracy, aligned with award requirements, company policy, and client needs. You will also contribute to client invoicing, reporting, and compliance with Fair Work Australia standards.Your Day Could See You:Payroll ProcessingEnd-to-end payroll execution in line with internal policies and relevant Australian Modern AwardsManaging timesheet accuracy, authorizations, and exception handling (e.g., through UKG)Importing payroll data, resolving discrepancies, and issuing pay remittancesMaintaining payroll files and documentationAddressing payroll-related queries via the ticketing system and escalating when necessaryRostering ManagementCreating and maintaining shift rosters that meet operational, award, and legal requirementsCoordinating with branch staff to align on coverage and availabilityHandling shift swaps, last-minute changes, and unplanned absencesEnsuring real-time updates of rosters and prompt communication with staffSupporting reporting for roster activity and shift coverageClient Invoicing & ReportingGenerating client invoices aligned with payroll dataPreparing and sending timesheets and statementsMaintaining Cobweb entries and producing weekly/monthly reportsSupporting client-specific reports (e.g., Ingram reports)Compliance & Workplace CultureEnsuring adherence to WHS, EEO, Anti-Discrimination, and Fair Work Australia policiesUpholding confidentiality, professionalism, and company Code of ConductPromoting Trojan’s values: Be Real, Determined, and People-FocusedWhat You’ll Bring:At least 2 years of experience in payroll and/or rostering roles (preferably supporting AU-based operations)Strong attention to detail and accuracy in timesheet and payroll validationAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesKnowledge of payroll systems and rostering platforms (e.g., UKG, Cobweb)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteExcellent communication skills, integrity, and ability to work independently and as part of a teamVocational training or recruitment industry experience (preferred)What Success Looks Like:100% on-time and accurate payroll and invoicing deliveryHigh shift coverage and schedule adherence ratesMinimal payroll discrepancies and prompt resolution of ticketsTimely and complete reports and Cobweb updatesPositive feedback from clients, internal stakeholders, and employeesOur Core Values:Collaboration – Brilliant jerks can be brilliant elsewhereImpact – Do, get it done, create impactPassion – Be positive, bring passion and energyTransparency – A transparent team can help each otherWhat Are You Waiting For?Join the A-Team and experience the A-Life!Join the A-Team and experience the A-Life!
