This international team is responsible to help entities shape their risk practices, and to give reasonable assurance to top management that their operational risks are under control.We enable, help and challenge all entities of the KBC Group in the way they handle their operational risks.To strengthen the team were looking for a colleague who has a sound risk background and who is eager to help other colleagues in the risk domain. The job focusses primarily on risk identification.

• Act as a human ‘risk’ radar, facilitator & independent observer.
• Define sound controls & practices to handle risk on a day-to-day basis.
• Support the local entities in risk identification process incl. challenge of the locally defined risk & control inventories.
• Plan & perform independent investigations to give reasonable assurance that the risks are under control.
• Follow up of legal and regulatory requirements.
• Help prepare reports for the key stakeholders (Group ExCo, Group CRO, Group IT Risk Community, …) via a structural information feed from the community.

The profile we are looking for combines the qualities of a natural ambassador with a strong expertise in the operational risk domain.– This vacancy is open to applicants with a university degree. Relevant working experience is an asset.
