Job description: JOB SUMMARY Support the Risk Assessment and Analysis Section Head by assisting in the conduct of systematic risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks related to the Bank’s information assets and operations. Collaborate with the business units to gain an understanding of the processes and provide guidance on recognizing risks and developing targeted risk mitigation strategies. JOB DESCRIPTION Assist in the conduct of risk assessments (ISRA/RCSA/SASRA) to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential risks that could impact the organization’s operations, reputation, and financial stability. Collaborate with various departments to understand risk factors and assess operational procedures for potential vulnerabilities. Review historical data and industry trends to forecast future risks and their potential impact on the business. Assist in developing strategies and action plans to mitigate identified risks, ensuring the organization’s assets and operations are safeguarded. Assist in implementing controls and best practices to reduce the likelihood and impact of risks. Assist in the preparation of detailed risk assessment reports, outlining findings, risks, recommendations, and mitigation plans for senior management. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date risk records of risk assessments, controls, and mitigation actions (i.e., IT Risk Library, Risk Register, etc.) Collaborate closely with the business units to ensure risk management is incorporated into business operations and that recognized risk strategies are executed Perform other tasks as directed by the Section Head, contributing to the section’s overall objectives and the Bank’s risk management framework JOB QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Risk Management, or a related field. A solid understanding of the risk assessment methodologies and frameworks. Working knowledge and experience in security awareness and training. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
