Job description: Company: Marsh CommercialDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.The Risk Advisor will assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service, including face-to-face client contact, administration, technical support, and business development, while also working towards developing your own SME book of business.We will count on you to:

• Service a client portfolio of predominantly NZ owned businesses, ensuring that our growth targets and service standards are met.
• Prepare all documentation for clients and insurers.
• Manage client renewals in accordance with Marsh’s “Client First Principles” to deliver consistent quality service to our Commercial clients.
• Attend and participate in industry and client events to build a strong professional network and represent the Company.
• Work actively with Client Executives to understand the client’s business, risk management, and insurance needs.
• Implement renewal and broking strategies as instructed by Client Executives.
• Assist Client Executives with account retention and defence strategies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered by the Company.

What you need to have:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A minimum of 2+ years of insurance industry experience; preferably broking, underwriting or within a role related to broking.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivation for client services and solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
