Job description: The OpportunityJoin a dynamic and highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) team at a leading mid-sized commercial law firm in Hong Kong. • Handle a broad spectrum of R&I matters, including formal insolvency proceedings, distressed M&A, debt restructuring, and creditor/debtor advisory work.
• Lead on contentious insolvency cases, from litigation strategy to enforcement actions.
• Draft and negotiate complex restructuring agreements, financing documents, and transactional deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on high-profile matters.
• Adapt quickly to evolving legal and market trends, contributing to the teams growth and innovation.

YOU

• 4-7 years PQE (Hong Kong or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
• Hong Kong admission preferred, though exceptional candidates with international experience will be considered.
• Proven experience in restructuring transactions and contentious insolvency proceedings.
• Exceptional English drafting skills and a solid grasp of contract and finance law fundamentals.
• A self-starter who can manage matters independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to guide juniors and work seamlessly with senior partners.
• Elite law firm training and outstanding academic credentials.
• Commercial acumen, versatility, and the ability to navigate cross-border insolvency regimes.
