Job description: Position SummaryThe RFP Specialist will play a key role in completing Request for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and other requests for information (RFIs) in a timely, comprehensive and concise manner working with internal constituents and Subject Matter Experts across the firm. The individual will efficiently and effectively utilize approved internal databases for responses to questionnaires and client inquiries and act as a liaison between colleagues around the world (Americas, Europe, Asia, etc.). This position is in New York and will directly report to the Head of the RFP Team.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Complete RFP, RFI, DDQ, and consultant questionnaire responses
- Deliver comprehensive, clear, and concise communication to all internal constituents, external clients, and/or prospects to accurately complete questionnaires
- Efficiently and effectively utilize approved database of content for responses to questionnaires and client inquires
- Consult RFP Manager when responding to questions with content not previously approved for use
- Responsible for delivering written communication including proper grammar and punctuation within all questionnaires and responses
- Ensure proper use internal Subject Matter Experts
- Maintain high degree of organization
- Communicate and adhere to deadlines
- Escalate questions that require further review as needed
Qualifications
- Able to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive, high-pressure environment
- Desire to learn and become a strong individual and team contributor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- 2+ years working with RFPs, DDQs, and RFIs in an asset management environment is a plus
- Experience with Rocket Docs or similar content management system is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, Economics, or similar major
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Word
- Strong understanding of fixed income, equities, and alternatives with a focus on Fixed Income; Core, High Yield, Bank Loan, and Structured Credit desirable
- Experience in asset management
Salary RangeAnnual base salary between $103,500.00-$115,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
Expected salary: $103500 – 115000 per year
