  • Assist in preparing the annual revenue budget and business plan that maximizes the Group Hotels’ revenue and profitability;
  • Work closely with the Group Director of Revenue and Distribution in determining appropriate pricing strategies and distribution channels for the Group Hotels;
  • Optimize revenue by setting and effective management of room rates and inventory;
  • Track competitive pricing and keep abreast of the latest market trend and competitors’ performance;
  • Analyze Hotels’ revenue statistics, market trends and competitors’ performance to forecast demand, identify revenue opportunities, and implement / adjust pricing and inventory strategies;
  • Prepare revenue reports for performance analysis, provide insights on market demand and trends as well as to identify areas for improvement;
  • Actively manage the relationship with third party online intermediaries especially OTAs and Regional Travel Agents;
  • To ensure that the Hotels’ position in the distribution channels is consistent with the Hotels’ revenue and sales strategies, includes conducting rate and availability audits;
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team in identifying soft periods and developing promotions and strategies;
  • Assist in team supervision;
  • To ensure effective resources and cost management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or related disciplines is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of hotel revenue management experience;
  • Excellent understanding of revenue management principles, market and pricing dynamics;
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to identify revenue opportunities and respond promptly;
  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to present ideas and strategies in a clear and concise manner;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with strong multitasking skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and revenue management systems and tools;
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese including Putonghua is an added advantage.
