Job description: ABOUT THE JOBThe RGM Lead is a key role in designing and driving the execution of the CPD RGM strategy. The role directly reports to the Category Business Development Director CPD and is responsible for driving the multi-year, multi-lever RGM CPD strategy. The role is required to build plans that are optimised effectively to deliver market share, L’Oréal & Customer growth. We’re looking for someone who can influence stakeholders across the business to help drive adoption of tools and processes and positive RGM outcomes.

  • Build and embed the divisional RGM strategy: Build multi-year, multi-lever RGM plans for our categories and brands that deliver a joint profit pool for L’Oréal and our customers. Work to embed RGM key principles within the existing S&OP process, to facilitate adoption of RGM language and thinking
  • RGM Strategy through to execution: Oversee and drive pricing, promotion, mix, and PPA initiatives in the division to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive internal and external engagement to influence business outcomes: Utilise consumer, shopper and market insights from multiple platforms and information sources to help create compelling customer presentations which engage retailers and assert our category credentials.
  • Embrace global strategy and build a data roadmap: Working across multiple areas of the business to proactively identify areas that data & analytics can support and drive business growth through data driven decision making – from data capture, tools and processes.
  • Use Cases: Develop and deliver BI and Advanced Analytics solutions for high-impact business opportunities. Bring to life real time RGM examples to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Coach and develop the RGM talent as the divisional subject matter expert.
  • Upskilling and adoption: Upskill the organisation through coaching and training and drive analytics and RGM process adoption in the business. Particularly to assist with embedding RGM principles and language in the division.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with peers, senior management and zone to build solutions, scale, and share best practice in the SAPMENA region. Stakeholder influencing skills are critical to delivering RGM outcomes.
  • Culture: Drive a culture of innovation, strategic and analytical thinking within the team and across the business.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 8+ years of insight, revenue growth and analytical experience. Experience within a FMCG /Retail, or pure player environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline – e.g. Maths, Engineering, Science, or IT
  • Proven success in stakeholder management and ability to influence peers to drive outcomes.
  • A natural collaborator with a strong analytical mind-set
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business strategy into analytical tasks and translate back to tangible business results.
  • Ability to draw and articulate clear commercial insights from large and varied operational data sets.
  • Excel and Power BI proficiency is essential. Experience with IQVIA and Anaplan is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to build compelling customer sell stories through PowerPoint.
