Job description: Meta is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position on our global credit card revenue team, based in our Dublin office. You will demonstrate exceptional communication and partnership skills along with recognizing how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this position you will be given the opportunity to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment while performing your function.Revenue Accountant ResponsibilitiesResponsible for multiple aspects of Revenue Accounting including review of journals, account reconciliations and preparing flux analysisDrive Finance requirements & testing on key projects for example system changes, product launchesDevelop and maintain cross-functional relationships with business and engineering partnersPartner with cross functional teams to streamline global processesEnsure compliance with key controls and audit requirements, including close coordination with both external and internal auditorsMinimum QualificationsRecognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)2+ years post-qualification industry experience with large, productive, multinational companyDemonstrated computer and analytical skills, including advanced skills in ExcelSolid knowledge of US GAAP and SOXDemonstrated planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skillsOrganised and thorough with desire for continuous improvementDemonstrated attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the ‘big picture’ and the importance of risk mitigationPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of SQL and database managementExperience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and analytical toolsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
