From toys to t-shirts, console games, books, and more, our team brings our beloved brands and franchises into the lives of families through products and experiences that can be found worldwide, such as the Disney Store e-commerce platform, Disney Parks, local and international retailers, and Disney Store locations around the world.The Retail Strategy Integration Manager will drive the development of cross-category product strategies across the vertical merchandising organization while aligning with broader Disney Consumer Products (DCP) priorities for their supported franchises & areas of ownership. This role will be an essential part of the DCP Parks Product Development & Retail organization that supports the development of merchandise for the Disney Parks and Owned & Operated DTC retail locations.This is an onsite role that can be based in Orlando, FL or Glendale, CA and will report to the Senior Manager – Merchandising.What You Will Do:Develop and drive cross-category product strategies across the vertical merchandising organization ensuring alignment with consumer preferences and market demandsConduct off-cycle milestone check-ins as necessary to accommodate new content and speed-to-market opportunities, and/or other DCP priority alignmentsValidate positioning of future strategies with analysis of current in-season performance and trends to improve business resultsCollaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive strategy implementationPartner with retail channel teams ensuring franchise content, localized activations, and Park programming requirements are clearly understood and embedded into development touchpointsIdentify ‘white space’ opportunities and determine strategies to expand audiencesPartner across the broader Walt Disney Company (including Commercialization, Brand Management, Studio, Imagineering, Site teams, etc.) to represent the voice of and serve as the conduit back to the vertical merchandise organization. while maintaining key relationships with Merchandising, Product Design, Global Creative, Parks/DTC Site & Planning Partners, Global Brand Commercialization, Studio and Walt Disney Imagineering PartnersRequired Qualifications & Skills:5 years experience in franchise strategy, merchandising, marketing, business development or brand managementAbility to collaborate, influence, and persuade at all levels across the organizationComfortable working through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution; flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesExceptional visual presentation building (PPT/Keynote) and delivery skills with a focus on storytelling and business resultsExperience in web-based retail systems (e.g. PLM/Product Lifecycle Management, MicroStrategy) and willingness to learn new systems as needed for deck and report building; proficiency in Microsoft OfficeManaging large entertainment franchises in an omni-channel retail structureAble to handle a large volume of complex work, prioritizing to ensure results are achievedAmbitious attitude, proactive problem solver and self-starterPreferred Education:Bachelor Degree in relevant field of studyAdditional Information:Our Benefits: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life. The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $ 98,600.00 to $132,200 per year and in Glendale, CA is $103,500 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
