Construction Research Group is a dynamic and interdisciplinary research group led by Prof. Borja García de Soto. The core topics of the S.M.A.R.T. Construction Research Group are Sustainable and resilient construction, Modularization and lean construction, Artificial intelligence, Robotic systems and automation, Technology integration and information modeling.QualificationsApplicants must have received a Ph.D. in civil engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. Expertise in ROS and simulation platforms is required. Additionally, candidates should have experience with ROS2 and be familiar with the development of AI models, large language models (LLMs), and the use of machine learning (ML) techniques. Excellent communication skills in English and scientific creativity are essential. The applicant should have a strong publication record and be capable of supporting grant writing and proposal development to secure funding for research initiatives. Furthermore, extensive experience in laboratory management and research operations, along with in-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in laboratory environments, is required.
