Job description: ACCOUNTABILITY:Contribute to deliver CTSL Competitive Advantage by developing robust analytical methods, maintaining and improving laboratory practices to ensure data integrity, repeatability and reproducibility.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow HSES procedures of both plant and laboratory. Operate in a safe, tidy and efficient

manner; maintain good 5S practices in the work area. Actively get involved with contributions tosafety, housekeeping, environment and process improvement initiatives.

• Identify the unmet testing demand and translate the input from technology development/deployment manager into test definition.
• Develop and validate customized performance tests; Optimize existing analytical procedures for improved accuracy, precision, and sensitivity; Ensure the repeatability and reproducibility of test methods; Document and report on method validation results.
• Analyze experimental data including identifying and quantifying systematic and random errors; Perform error analysis to identify potential sources of bias in experimental procedures; Implement strategies to minimize systematic errors, such as instrument calibration and control of environmental factors.
• Apply broad and thorough understanding of technical field and train others on analytical methods and technologies. Provide technical leadership to the workgroup and is seen as a “go to” person internal and external to CTSL. Mentor junior chemists, Lab technicians and provide guidance on experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results to foster a culture of scientific excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders, such as global counterparts, external lab contacts and industry experts, to resolve testing problems related to product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation. Proactively identify potential problems and effectively map out a plan for resolution. Troubleshoot analytical issues and optimize processes enhancing productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Seek out new applications and methods to meet customer and business needs.
• Oversee testing method validation and stability studies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the analytical laboratory.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

• Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, master degree is a plus

• Knowledge, technical/professional skill:

• Experience in testing method development, validation and verification
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Analytical thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
• A passion for scientific inquiry and a commitment to driving impactful results in a fast-paced

environment

• Prepare and present technical reports, research findings, and testing updates to internal and

external stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable strategies

• Experience:

5 years of laboratory related experience

• Language Skill:

o Fluent in English both written and verbal

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively
