Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reporting Automation Business Analyst with a strong background in financial services, regulatory reporting, and IT business analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our reporting automation platform, leveraging Agile development practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Business Analyst for the Reporting Automation product, collecting the requirements of automation solutions for regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into detailed technology specifications.
• Lead and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of reporting automation solutions.
• Apply Design Thinking or User-Centered Design principles to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the reporting automation platform, making adjustments as necessary to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including compliance, IT, and business units, to ensure seamless integration of the reporting automation platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 – 8 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with experience in driving IT automation projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Agile development practices and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Design Thinking or User-Centered Design is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with reporting automation tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with data management and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
