Job description: We are looking for a REINSURANCE ACCOUNT COORDINATOR to join our team in Prague. If you’re passionate about client relationships, possess a strong attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!What Awaits You?As a Reinsurance Account Coordinator, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all accounting and claims-related matters, ensuring effective communication between clients and the internal team.
- Provide high-standard account servicing, ensuring timely collection and payment of funds to and from clients, reinsurers, and third parties. This includes reconciliation, follow-up, and minimizing funding to meet financial objectives.
- Review clients’ quarterly reinsurance statements to ensure accurate reporting in line with treaty contract terms.
- Identify and address debtor-related issues, escalating, negotiating, and influencing as necessary to achieve resolution.
- Manage and respond promptly to queries from clients and reinsurers.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with assigned clients, reinsurers, and third parties
What We Expect From You:
- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is a plus.
- Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and brokers within both Synergy Re and Gallagher Re.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Czech and English.
