Job description: Job DescriptionThis position provides expert advice and analysis and conducts specialized investigations involving identity theft, fraud, money laundering and collusion with the primary focus centering on iGaming. This position will have complete responsibility for the most complex assignments and sensitive and difficult investigations related to the Lawful Internet Gaming Act (LIGA), Fantasy Contest Consumer Protection Act, the Lawful Sports Betting Act their administrative rules, or any other Act under the jurisdiction of the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB).The position develops policies and procedures regarding investigative data collection and storage, keeps the Board apprised of emerging trends in illegal gambling, coordinates with outside agencies and offers expert assistance, functions as a subject matter expert in conducting investigations related to internet gaming, develops programs and training to enhance investigative integrity, and conducts complex investigations related to violations of matters falling under the jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigations Section (CIS).Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be held intermittently throughout the posting period.View the entire job specification at:The Michigan Gaming Control Board is a state agency dedicated to ensuring the conduct of fair and honest gaming. MGCB’s main office is located at 3062 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI; however, MGCB has a satellite office in Lansing and offices located in Greektown Casino, MGM Grand – Detroit, and MotorCity Casino. Not all MGCB positions have the capability to work remotely due to the nature of the position. For positions approved to work a hybrid schedule, MGCB requires a minimum of two in-office days each week. Periodic onsite teamwork, collaboration, and communication with peers and leaders is required for all positions and is essential to the position’s success and MGCB’s mission and values. Selected candidates approved to work a hybrid schedule, must complete remote work within Michigan. Eligibility for a hybrid schedule will be determined by management and is not an entitlement. Employees will be provided computers and other essential items necessary to perform state work. Employees working a hybrid schedule will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.Experience
