Learn more at .The TEU Manager serves as a first-line professional manager of professional employees in a standard work area who plans, organizes, directs, and monitors staff performance regarding investigating and enforcing collection of delinquent employer taxes in accordance with the MES Act, Administrative Rules, and Regulations. This manager monitors staff performance, develops and provides training, recommends policy and procedure changes, implements those changes, and provides program and technical support to agency staff and the Department of the Attorney General.TEU collects monies from delinquent employer tax accounts, enforces collections on accounts audited by Field Audit and SUTA units, processes bank levies, conducts field visits to verify status of an employer business, and oversees the federal Treasury Offset Program (TOP). In addition, TEU refers accounts to the Attorney General’s Office for legal action which may include negotiating settlement agreements, issuing warrants or subpoenas against delinquent employer accounts, and representing the agency in administrative hearings.Required Education and ExperienceEducationPossession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.ExperienceFour years of professional experience providing regulation and investigative services equivalent to a Regulation Agent or Regulation Officer, including two years equivalent to a Regulation Agent P11 or Regulation Officer P11, or one year equivalent to a Regulation Agent 12 or Regulation Officer 12.Alternate Education and ExperienceRegulation Manager 13 – 15
