Job description: The Regional Lead Performance & Productivity Asia is placed within our Operations Steering and Transformation division at AWP Australia Pty Ltd also trading as Allianz Partners. The position directly reports to the Head of Performance & Productivity. The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial management processes as well as the development and delivery of accurate and timely reports for BUs & LoBs in the Asia region. Here, it plays a pivotal role in the adoption of global assets & fostering harmonization via best-practices ensuring the right balance of global harmonized procedures and regional / local shaping while managing the running reporting to internal & external stakeholders.The position involves strategic financial planning, budgeting and analysis as well as performance management to support effective decision-making. The role requires a strong grasp of Operations, financial controls, risk management and the ability to lead a team in achieving financial objectives, as well as strong leadership, change management skills and a deep understanding of data analysis, report visualization and communication skills to convey complex information effectively. Given our global multi-dimensional matrix setup with strong interdependencies across areas, it is key to collaborate with various departments leveraging an agile mindset. This role contributes to the organization’s overall success by ensuring financial & non-financial health, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and providing valuable insights on Operations performance & productivity in Asia to support informed decision-making across the organization and the achievement of our global strategic goals.Key responsibilities include:RUN
FINANCIAL PLANNING: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with organizational targets broken down into concrete budgets for budget owners.
FINANCIAL CONTROLS: Establish and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
DATA ANALYSIS: Conduct in-depth analyses of data in scope and in consequence provide insights to support strategic decision-making for operational leaders.
FINANCIAL MONITORING: Oversee the monitoring of financial performance against budgets and identify variances and to recommend corrective actions.
FINANCIAL REPORTING: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to all relevant stakeholders, including management and regulatory bodies.
FINANCIAL FORECASTING: Develop financial forecasts and projections, aiding a proactive decision-making and resource allocation by using comprehensive performance data along with deep insights and simulation in close collaboration with workforce management, productivity and other Operations teams.
OPERATIONAL REPORTING: Ensure delivery of all relevant reports (external & internal) in time, quality & budget.
OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS: Oversee data analysis processes to ensure accuracy, relevance and reliability of the reported information.CHANGE
HARMONIZE: Foster efficiency by implementing global assets & tools and actively shape the harmonization by bringing up best-practices and practical approaches to increase efficiency.
TRANSFORM: Push for context-driven reporting throughout all layers and dimensions with deep analytics and consistency across steering forums to provide actionable insights to support value-based decision making across the organization.
CREATE: Lead the design and creation of reports to meet the information needs of Allianz Partners and external stakeholders considering global assets & tools with maximum automation and local shaping where required and/or beneficial.
PERFORM: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Performance & Productivity functions.
COLLABORATE: Collaborate closely with other Operations and non-Operations departments to gather data, align financial strategies and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and hence to the overall success of Allianz Partners.ENABLE
PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Actively contribute to the design, development, and foster continuous improvement of reporting processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.
QUALITY: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the reported data.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: Provide training and support to the Performance & Productivity in Asia to enhance their reporting skills and capabilities.
TECHNOLOGY: Stay up to date to the newest tools and technologies and in consequence integrate innovations to improve Performance & Productivity capabilities.
DATA SECURITY: Implement measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in reporting processes.
COMPLIANCE: Ensure reporting practices adhere to industry regulations and organizational standards of Allianz Partners.
COMMUNICATION: Effectively communicate complex data insights to all relevant stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.LEAD
BUILD: Build and lead a diverse high-performing team of operations professionals and foster a culture of trust, entrepreneurship and technical excellence that improves AES (Allianz Engagement Survey) scores.
LEAD: Be an ambassador of Allianz Partners and a role model for our values while creating a high-performance culture and teams. As Global Lines Functional Manager the role sets & track priorities for the team.
ALIGN: Align all initiatives with strategic objectives of Allianz Partners to contribute to the overall business success.
