Accountability for the full sourcing execution of assigned raw materials for APAC
Understanding of raw materials: analyzing the market, preparing sourcing strategies, utilization of a formal RFP process with implementation and tracking of results.
Align and formal execution of global procurement strategies and best practices associated with bidding, negotiation, and supplier development.
Sourcing of assigned raw materials in APAC and aligning with global strategic/APAC strategic approach together with the Global /Regional Category Leader.
Identification, attaining commitment, and implementation of cost-out improvement opportunities to create structural and sustained advantages.
Development of “should cost” and “make versus buy” financial models which provide predictive analysis to support decision making.
Provide forward looking guidance on trends, threats, and opportunities throughout the complete feedstock and supply chain, update forecasted price periodically.
Development of contingency and risk mitigation plans.
Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Identify new supplier and lead the whole qualifications to expand the supply base
Utilizing e-technologies (i.e, e-RFP’s, Internet searches, reverse auctions, etc.)Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Responsible Care programs
Job requirement:
Bachelor’s degree with major in chemical or related background.
min.5 years sourcing related experience in multinational chemical company.
Strong negotiation skill, capability in cost out identification and implementation
Good interpersonal communication skill in English, teamwork spirit.
Highly efficient and able to work under pressure
Self-motivator, patient and flexibility (know when to push back or push forward)
