- In the position of Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in the development of Power Technique growth strategies.
- You will collaborate with the different divisions and the Power Technique divisional management teams to develop the acquisitions strategic framework and roadmap.
- Your primary focus will be on the China market and developing a pipeline of acquisition targets to enable Power Technique to further develop its growth strategy and build up a brand portfolio of China companies to enhance our product and capability portfolio and deliver profitable sustainable growth.
- You will conduct extensive research and analysis of industries, potential acquisition targets and competitors and communicate findings and recommendations.
- You will facilitate cross-functional project teams’ input across business functions including, Marketing, Aftermarket, Finance, Legal, Product Development, HR and Customer Centers and provide the senior management with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making.
To succeed, you will need
- Identify strategic business opportunities in China, including acquisitions and joint ventures to maximise sales and profitability for PT.
- Generate a pipeline of acquisition targets with outline business cases.
- Generate Revenue and Cost synergies for acquisition targets.
- Collaborate with divisional management teams in the due diligence processes and contract negotiations for acquisition projects.
- Manage regulatory approval processes and direct external legal partners.
- Competitive assessment and peer group strategy scenario planning.
- Coordinate all forms of market research, competitor and market share and market opportunity mapping.
- Contribute to the creation of profitable business results and continuously improved performance through:
- Extending product portfolio and services that can be offered to the market.
- Identifying new business sectors or markets to deliver growth.
- Develop new channel platforms or partners to meet growth targets
- Excellence in relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
