Western Sydney University is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Database and CRM Coordinator to manage and optimise donor data systems, ensuring effective donor engagement and successful fundraising.As part of the Office of Advancement, you will play a key role in overseeing the University’s Advancement CRM (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring data integrity, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting donor relationship management. If you have a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful fundraising and enjoy optimising CRM systems, we invite you to join our team.This is a full-time, fixed-term position until February 2030 and will be based at Western’s Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Prospect Development and Research, you will:

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the Advancement CRM (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular data cleansing and audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track fundraising performance, donor engagement, and campaign success.
  • Optimise CRM functionality by implementing workflows and automation to enhance donor stewardship.
  • Train and support staff in effective CRM usage, developing best practices and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure CRM integration with other University systems.
  • Provide data insights and analytics to inform donor engagement and fundraising strategies.

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-focused professional with a strong background in CRM management, database administration, and data analysis. You will have:

  • Proven experience in CRM/database management, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret donor data and trends.
  • Technical expertise in Raiser’s Edge or similar donor management systems.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, ensuring data-driven efficiency.
  • Ability to train and support staff, fostering CRM best practices across the organisation.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data integrity and compliance.
  • A strategic mindset and able to refine data processes to bolster philanthropic endeavors.
