Job description: How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Team Lead/Accounting Supervisor.The primary function is to be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Team Lead/Accounting Supervisor in those activities highlighted as Critical and sensitive to the operation.The Senior Analyst will also provide support to the accounting Team Lead/ Accounting Supervisor by working as focal point of certain activities and providing a clear status/summary of what has been done.Job ResponsibilitiesReceive, review and post journal entries receivedPrepare and post monthly journal entriesPrepare and post recurring entries annually and update throughout the year as necessaryExecute monthly program to book-and-reverse journal entries from the prior monthPerform other financial accounting monthly close duties as assigned, including sending month-end reports to managementPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare audit and tax request work papers and respond to internal and external audit requestsEnforce the company’s financial control policiesAssist the accounting Team Lead/Accounting Supervisor in coordinating certain critical/sensitive accounting tasks.Complete Key performance indicators timelyAnalyze and document business processes and problems.
