Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Officer to join our finance team. You will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling various financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with different departments to resolve any issues. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with financial regulations and enhance our financial reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with profound knowledge of reconciliation processes.   • Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation reports for management review
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of reconciliation processes for audit purposes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reconciliation policies and procedures
  • Communicate with external vendors and internal departments regarding discrepancies and resolutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally with focus on reconciliations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Expected salary: $5000 – 5200 per month
