Job description: **Receivable Financing / Trade Financing Portfolio Manager – Launch a Fund **A prestigious asset manager is seeking an astute Receivable Financing Portfolio Manager with expertise and passion for trade finance. This prominent role involves launching a fund around deep understanding of receivable financing, portfolio management within the vibrant heart of London.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of trade finance transactions, monitor portfolio performance, risk, and profitability goals.
  • Conduct credit assessments and maintain compliance with trade regulations.
  • Structure complex trade finance deals tailored to specific client needs, balancing risk and return.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
  • Optimise trade finance offerings to support client business goals, enhancing your competitive advantage in the market.
  • Stay informed on global trade trends, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes that may impact the trade finance portfolio.
  • Provide strategic insights based on market analysis to enhance decision-making and portfolio strategy.
  • Develop and present quarterly performance reports, including insights into portfolio trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop strong relationships with external clients, providing expertise and guidance on trade finance products and services.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trade finance, portfolio management, or related fields within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit, supply chain finance, and other instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience in credit risk assessment, transaction structuring, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of global trade regulations, AML, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and portfolio management software.
