This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor with 0-2 years PQE to join a collaborative and supportive legal team in the Bury St Edmunds office. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the successful candidate will handle a variety of residential and commercial property matters, and assist with property aspects of probate work and tax planning.Key Responsibilities:
– Manage a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leases, and property development
– Assist with property-related aspects of probate work and tax planning implementation
– Provide expert legal advice on property issues and conduct legal research
– Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and transfer deeds
– Collaborate with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions
– Stay informed about changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance
– Attend client meetings and negotiations as needed
– Promote real estate services through seminars, social media, and other business development activities
– Support other team members and departments on property-related queries
– Meet productivity, recoverability, and fee income targetsRequirements:
– Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive (0-2 Years PQE)
– Strong understanding of residential and commercial property law
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Organisational skills with the ability to manage a caseload independently
– Membership with the Law Society of England and Wales
