As part of DHL Group, you will be working with a global network of CRE colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities.We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Karachi, Pakistan.Job Purpose:

  • Execute plans and transactions to maximize the value of CRE portfolio’s, Provide input to portfolio planning. Typically, responsible for a sub-portfolio. Manage simple acquisitions & development projects.
  • Develop and administer construction management plans and processes to deliver real estate construction solutions for new build, refurbishment and re-construction projects in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies

Your tasks:

  • Execute plans and transactions to maximize the value of CRE portfolio
  • Provide input towards portfolio planning to provide the best mix of properties in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies
  • Typically, responsible for a sub-portfolio
  • Manage simple acquisitions & development projects and asset divestment
  • Liaise with business colleagues including business development, solutions design teams, operations, and finance teams to ensure solution aligns with business requirements
  • Assess real estate options and viability in order to determine commercial opportunities
  • Provide thorough market information to support real estate options
  • Negotiate best outcome for transaction and present opportunities to business colleagues in standardized format to allow for comparison
  • Manage project from sourcing to handover working with teams from Construction and Facilities Management, as required
  • Work with stakeholders to finalize transaction including Legal, Risk, Procurement
  • Execute construction management plans and processes to ensure delivery of constructions solutions and projects on time and within budget results
  • Contribute to budget preparation and achieve budget control for the construction projects
  • Collate data and analytics for the underwriting and BCA approval process, including financial modelling for developers, inputs for construction risk assessment, etc.
  • Draft the construction related documents and approval papers
  • Gather and analyze market and investment data
  • Assist the contractor selection process by screening the third-parties such as contractors
  • Assess performance and service standards of third-party construction firms engaged in construction process
  • Support land expert in preparing documentation, performing due diligence analyses and executing administrative tasks for land acquisition
  • Share potential leads through portfolio refresh and other project-related tasks such as consolidating data required for BCA, interfacing with BU functions, etc.
  • Draft and report analysis/ deliverables within timelines and as per quality standards
  • Study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for construction management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Your profile:Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification

Experience Level

  • More than 5 years
