Job description: REAL ESTATE FINANCE SOLICITOR – NEWCASTLE – (Agile Working Available) Are you a talented real estate lawyer with some finance experience, ideally around 2-5 year PQE, looking to join a highly respected, award-winning team, based in the North East? This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team recognised nationally for its high-quality legal work and exceptional client care. You’ll ideally have experience in some or all of the following areas: – Property finance / development finance – Commercial and residential development work – Landlord and tenant matters You may also have experience in: – Acting for both lenders and borrowers on property aspects of funding transactions – Handling a range of property matters including development, acquisitions and disposals of both freehold and leasehold interests – Advising on commercial landlord and tenant matters – Supporting the property aspects of corporate transactions You will also be: – A proactive self-starter with strong technical skills – Commercially aware and confident in managing client relationships – A committed team player with excellent communication and organisational skills – Enthusiastic about business development and delivering outstanding service Location & Flexibility: The role is based at the firm’s head office in central Newcastle upon Tyne, where the team has a long-established presence. There is also flexibility through an agile working policy, allowing team members to work 2-3 days per week from home or other locations, depending on business needs.
