Our global presence allows us to identify, secure and manage the best investment opportunities in the most attractive markets.Your Role:​The Analyst will work across multiple disciplines, including Acquisitions and Asset Management, working closely with experienced investment professionals. The Analyst will provide support in financial modelling and investment analysis for new real estate investment opportunities identified by the Asia Pacific Real Estate Team as well as existing assets in the portfolio. This role will also assist in the preparation of investment recommendations, investment committee papers, asset business plans, and property and fund reporting.The role is a 2-year contract, with potential for advancement into a permanent role at the end of 2 years, subject to performance.

  • Working with acquisitions team in Shanghai primarily, but also across APAC
  • Assisting entire transaction process including deal screening, underwriting, structuring and financing, investment committee materials preparation, market research, due diligence, deal documentation and closing
  • Assisting the asset management team with day-to-day active asset management including capex planning, sell-hold analysis, lease approval memos, refinancing scenarios, preparing annual business plans, co-ordinating quarterly valuations, updating asset performance and regular reporting
  • Working closely with other key teams including portfolio management, closing services and fund accounting
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the manager or other key members of the IRE team

The Experience You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree on property, engineering/science, finance, economics or business studies
  • 1 – 2 years’ professional experience in finance/investment banking, property brokerage, auditing, consulting, or related fields
  • Proficient in Excel and basic financial modelling
  • Familiarity with real estate investment fundamentals
  • Superior analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is advantageous
