  • Ensure all operational, financial, and HR objectives are achieved for the RCTI Collections team, Master Data, and Compliance.
  • Focus on reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and maintaining Receivable ledger balances.
  • Lead and motivate the team to drive performance excellence and quality customer service within the Shared Service Team.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring effective workflow and adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide technical and decision-making support to the Credit Manager and team on debtor accounts, data analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Utilize Creditor Watch for risk management and monitor customer base risk.
  • Communicate with senior management regarding risk changes and corrective actions.
  • Maintain the integrity of Master Data and ensure accuracy in data reconciliation tasks.
  • Review and suggest alternative terms for onboarding new customers when risk is adverse.
  • Lead the team’s performance and manage reconciliation models and processes, driving continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with operations teams and stakeholders.
  • Build databases using Microsoft Access and Excel to streamline high-volume customer account reconciliation.
  • Assist senior management with presentations, reports, and departmental data analysis.
  • Contribute to Lean Projects and collaborate with the Senior Leadership Group as required.
  • Provide backup support to the Credit Manager and mentor team members, ensuring their development.
  • Ensure compliance with Toll Group policies, processes, and procedures.

Essential Skills:

  • Technical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros, formulas such as VLOOKUP), and finance system expertise (SAP/Unibis).
  • Business: Strong business acumen, analytical ability, customer focus, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Data & Reporting: Prefer a background in data and reporting, with proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Human Relations: Excellent communication skills, leadership, ability to influence through change, and strong organizational skills.
