Job description: Quality /Safety Coordinator – Consumer FoodsLocation: Achonry DepotPermanent ContractAurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. In Aurivo our values define how we operate, employing over 630 people directly and providing employment for many others in wide range of activities including transport & distribution.Opportunity:This is a fixed term role and represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to progress and develop within one of Ireland’s leading multi discipline Co-operativesKey Responsibilities and Duties:· Role will be to Assist site management to maintain and improve Achonry Site Quality and Safety processes and Routines· Role will be 60% Quality and 40% Safety Focused· Assist in the development of a continuous improvement culture· Ensure successful completion of all audits and regulatory compliance· Accurate completion, maintain all records for traceability· Maintain, update and periodically inspect all site safety and quality records· Ensure sustainable Implementation of all Incident and observation corrective actions working with site management· Complete Monthly safety inspections· Maintain Training files and ensure that all records are updated and compliant· Complete regular audits of all site paperwork for quality and safety compliance· Maintain a safe environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines· Reporting of Daily Operations Review meeting and KPI’s· Auditing of Milk Depots for Quality and Safety standards· Attending company meeting daily on Microsoft TeamsQualifications and Skills:· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Dynamics Navision experience or willingness to be trained· Ability to work proactively and with flexibility· Good problem-solving skills· Energetic with a positive work attitude· High attention to detail is required· A flexible approach regarding hours of work is essentialThe company reserves the right to select a shortlist from the applications received.
