Job description: I am seeking a Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Dublin and ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and compliance.The ideal candidate will be a driven professional who shares a dedication to excellence and continuous improvement. They will have a strong background in quality engineering, an eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring that every product and process meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve product quality issues to ensure continuous improvement.
- Perform regular inspections, audits, and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to optimize product quality and process efficiency.
- Use statistical methods and data analysis to identify trends, track performance, and recommend improvements.
- Support product development teams in designing products with quality standards in mind, ensuring design for manufacturability and reliability.
- Document, report, and present quality metrics to management, including process improvements and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve quality assurance methodologies to minimize defects and maximize productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry. .
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
