It does not offer a hybrid working environment and does not have any shift work requirements. Working days are Monday to Friday.About the role:You’ll be part of a friendly and dynamic team that supports our customers in the development of life changing drugs and vaccines. In this role, you will mainly be supporting the Quality function by performing testing and release of company products. The role is a mid-level position reporting to a Quality Supervisor and has no direct reports.What will you do?Role Responsibilities:

  • Performing QC analyses and associated tasks as per standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
  • Review batch manufacturing records and documentation and release product for supply, and chemicals and components for manufacture
  • Recording, analyzing and trending QC data in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
  • Ordering and maintenance of stock and resources, ensuring correct storage conditions for samples and chemicals
  • Calibration and maintenance of Lab equipment and manufacturing monitoring equipment as per the defined schedule
  • Facilitate quality control documentation (SOP’s, Standard Forms) including writing, reviewing and issuing of documents
  • Communicate effectively across departments and with internal customers.
  • Conducting and supporting investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Take part in training and PPI activities
  • Perform Environmental Monitoring, Microbiological tests or other laboratory related activities
  • Conceive and participate in quality improvement initiatives and process improvement
  • Observe all safety rules which are established to maintain safe work practices, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct pro-active hazard identification and report any accidents, incidents and near misses

Keys to Success:Education:

  • Tertiary Science qualification

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Min 3 yrs’ industry work experience within a similar role in the QC/QA field
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or laboratory environment (Calibration and Chemistry experience will be useful but not essential)
  • Knowledge of quality control laboratory methods, quality assurance methods, and regulatory compliance standards including ISO9001 and general cGMP requirements
  • Experience facilitating quality control documentation (SOP’s, Standard Forms) including writing, reviewing and issuing of documents, conducting and supporting investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA etc (auditing or risk assessment experience is a nice to have)
  • Computer literate in MS Office Suite including spreadsheets, database applications
  • Meticulous and with a high attention to detail
  • Possess strong discipline and a thorough, pro-active, methodical and systematic approach to your work
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Proven collaboration, team building and team participation skills
  • Reliable and honest with a positive work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Organised with a proven ability to prioritise tasks according to customer requirements
