Job description: PE Global is currently recruiting for a Corporate Finance Manager for a leading Public Sector organisation based in Dublin City Centre.This is a permanent opportunity with a leading public sector organisation based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of companies within the residential property development / finance sector area.Responsibilities:
Assist in shareholder oversight of a number of the Portfolio Companies operating in the residential property development / finance sector.
Review and analyse financial reports (including annual reports and interim reports etc.) and business plans prepared by Portfolio Companies.
Review and analyse any borrowing, funding and capital expenditure proposals that Portfolio Companies are submitting for shareholder approval.
Review and analyse from a financial perspective any acquisition, disposal or joint venture proposals to be undertaken by Portfolio Companies.
Review of financial targets (e.g., dividend, profitability, gearing) and equity valuations for Portfolio Companies to monitor financial performance and shareholder return.
Assist in oversight of the delivery of climate objectives (e.g., decarbonisation / sustainability strategies) by Portfolio Companies.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the residential property development sector.
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, in particular officials in Government Departments and senior management teams in the Portfolio Companies.
Prepare accurate, commercially focused and insightful reports capable of presentation to relevant Government Ministers/Departments.
Requirements:
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CFA)
You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience within a financial role in either professional services advisory, corporate real estate, construction or a large commercial organisation of scale
Experience in residential property development / finance is required
You will have strong financial and commercial analytical skills
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
