Job description: Job Description: Test Manager (TM) – Cards & Liabilities TestingPosition: Test Manager (TM) Location: OnsiteAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain expertise in Cards and a working knowledge of Liabilities, with a proven track record in managing testing projects. While the primary role is Test Management, the candidate must also be capable of contributing to Test Design, Test Execution, and Reporting as needed. This role requires an individual who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Test Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Cards and Liabilities testing.
- Manage and lead a team of testers, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor and control testing progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
- Manage test environments and data.
- Coordinate with development, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution process.
- Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders.
- Cards & Liabilities Testing:
- Leverage strong domain knowledge of Cards to effectively manage testing activities.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Liabilities testing, including CB testing.
- Ensure thorough testing of Cards and Liabilities functionalities, including but not limited to authorization, settlement, and customer transactions.
- Understand and apply relevant industry standards and regulations related to Cards and Liabilities.
- Test Design & Execution:
- Contribute to the creation of detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Execute test cases and document test results.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify and report defects with clear and concise documentation.
- Reporting:
- Generate and distribute comprehensive test reports, including test summary reports, defect reports, and progress reports.
- Analyze test results and provide insights into the quality of the application.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Cards and Liabilities.
- Mandatory: Strong domain expertise in Cards.
- Experience with CB testing in Liabilities.
- Proven experience in Test Management, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ability to contribute to Test Design and Test Execution.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work Onsite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools.
- Knowledge of payment industry standards (e.g., ISO 8583).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
