Job description: Purchasing Support ExecutiveKildare, LPurchasing Support Executive – Bathrooms, Tiles & FlooringLocation: County KildareSalary: Up to €60k basic salary, with benefits including annual bonus, pension, training, and career progression opportunitiesJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are recruiting a Purchasing Support Executive to join the Bathrooms, Tiles & Flooring team of a well-established buying department. This role will support the Senior Buyer across a range of purchasing and product coordination tasks – but above all, we are looking for someone with strong product knowledge in bathrooms and sanitary ware.If you’ve worked in the bathrooms industry – whether in buying, sales, or sales support, and have a solid understanding of brands, specifications, and customer needs, this is an excellent opportunity to build a longer-term career in purchasing.The role is office-based Monday to Friday, with the possibility of one remote working day per week after onboarding.Key Responsibilities

• Product & Supplier Support: Assist the Senior Buyer in sourcing, managing and maintaining a strong product range within bathrooms, tiles, and flooring.
• Technical Input: Provide knowledgeable input on specifications, features, and market trends across bathrooms and sanitary ware ranges.
• Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to track orders, request samples, clarify specifications, and resolve issues.
• Data & Stock Accuracy: Ensure product details, pricing and stock information are accurately maintained in internal systems.
• Administrative Coordination: Handle purchase orders, product set-up, pricing updates and category documentation.
• Market Awareness: Monitor competitor offerings and support product benchmarking and range reviews.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with sales, logistics, and marketing teams to support the execution of category plans and promotions.

Skills & Experience Required

• Bathrooms Product Knowledge: Essential. You must have a strong understanding of bathroom and sanitary ware products, whether from a buying, sales, or showroom background.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a commercial, purchasing, category support, or sales support role preferred
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for supplier and internal coordination
• Confident using Excel and working with stock or product management systems
• A genuine interest in home interiors and a willingness to grow within the buying function
