About the RoleAttention to detail and compliance are the key to this Purchasing Officer position, you’ll be reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager as one of two Purchasing Officers. This position has become available as the long serving incumbent will be retiring.Working alongside and supporting Argus ManuTech Ltd’s Supply Chain, you will be procuring a variety of materials, components and equipment using the NetSuite ERP / MRP system and following established processes. This is a challenging role and prior experience purchasing in a technical environment is desirable.The Purchasing Officer will be involved across multiple functions of the organisation including the sales, product design, production engineering and manufacturing teams.The CompanyArgus Manutech Limited (AML) has been leading the field in the component design and manufacture for more than 50 years. • 5 plus years’ experience in a procurement focused role
• Experience in procurement in a compliance focused manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with supplier selection, negotiating supplier agreements and payment terms
• Understanding of international trade and freight
• A problem-solver with an inquisitive mindset
• Ability to communicate well and work across functions
• Comfortable interpreting technical information
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis
