  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savings
  • Analyse pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the Precinct to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
  • Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems (Purchase Plus preferred)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
