  • sales & account management and their most senior client stakeholders across the whole Randstad organisation: Global Enterprise Strategic Account leaders and EVPs (former RESC); Enterprise Strategic Account leaders (former NASA/SANA/KAM); Randstad Enterprise Sales leaders;
  • Commercial Committee;
  • leaders across specializations and other member teams across the Global Enterprise Customer Support and Solutions Leader (COE) including opportunity management team, service & solution design, legal, contract implementation; commercial controller (pricing) and customer support center teams (silver and EAC team), market Enterprise and digital bid teams,
  • local market inhouse teams and other functional areas within Randstad and operating company stakeholders who provide operational or professional delivery services
  • 3rd party providers e.g suppliers, technology providers, partners and governing industry groups

First Task:You will be responsible for specific proposals in which our OTS/PTS services need to be adapted. Such proposals will go above and beyond our standard concepts and require a proposal specialist who will tailor the proposal to articulate and advance our client engagement to the next commercially viable stage.You will be able to provide answers to our client proposals in which our standard content will need to be tailored providing the right level of insight and expertise to solve our clients talent challenges.Objective of the Role:You will be discovering and owning parts of a proposal which are specific and requireexpertise to author, research, communicate and complete the overall proposal.In doing so you will be working closely together with Randstad Enterprise Strategic Customer Leads and markets for international proposals in OTS/PTS as well as the other colleagues from the COE in OTS/PTS for opportunity excellence, customer excellence & financial excellence.Keeping informed and updated about the randstad group is essential for this role. You willbuild up further relationships and insights about the company which will support theimmediate needs and aspirations of our customers.Ultimately you will leverage these insights to tailor bid content and feedback to our COE leaders for future reusability. Keeping a high level of quality and continuous advancementshaping the future of our industry.Working closely and partnering with our sales and account owners you will meet with key customer stakeholders, participate in workshops and bring your expertise and experience to build the best proposal and to the customer’s immediate needs and create a foundation for further expansion and innovation for their contingent workforce needs. This also requires customer facing activities as well as potential international travel.This is a senior job operating corporately across the whole Randstad organization. Teamwork is essential, along with a growth mindset, to guide and lead stakeholders through their transformation supporting their workforce needs.Role Priorities and Responsibilities

  • team up with the customer leads & COE teams to author specific content which tailors our proposal, such a proposal may be structured following a customer’s format or we may decide to tailor our response using a tailor made randstad format, translate technical or operational information into customer-focused benefits
  • ensure the content flows and fits with the overall proposal, taking ownership to adapt a proposal from start to finish
  • provide answers and content which is relevant to the customer challenge and engages stakeholders with the right information
  • leverages industry insights and customer culture to create impact by tailoring a proposal to the customer stakeholders group, in doing so you will gain access to customer account plans and stakeholder maps
  • uses the bid platform to produce tailored content and supports the upkeep of the content library to keep it relevant after each deliverable is submitted
  • interacting with multiple stakeholders to validate any content is professional and uses your own expertise in OTS/PTS and common sense to bring attention to any requirements that seem unrealistic
  • proactively manage your own workload and communications to inform of progress and seek clarification as soon as possible in case of any doubts
  • work towards deadlines
  • participates in team virtual meetings, checkpoints and group townhalls as well as being present in virtual or face 2 face customer meetings
  • keep up to date with randstad concepts and developments in the labor market
  • develop toolkit for markets

education & experience

  • University/Post Graduate or equivalent professional & intellectual experience, or at least 5 years’ experience of multi-national, multi-region design, and proven ability to function within matrix onshore and offshore organizations
  • ideally background in both Blue collar Workforce Management / Day-to-Day Operations and MSP experience, Business Process Design

knowledge & skills

  • knowledge and know-how of high-volume OTS/PTS talent models, associated pricing and delivery models and sourcing strategies
  • Strong internal network is a definite plus
  • leading stakeholder engagement with customers and colleagues during each pursuit ensuring a clear understanding of the talent model, responsibilities and accountability
  • Ability to draft a storyline tailored to a customer and an industry
  • working knowledge of or keen interest in the other specialisations at Randstad (Enterprise, Digital) besides wrong knowledge of the OTS/PTS environment
  • experience building trusting relationships at all levels of an organization especially with senior executives
  • ability to present to executive and senior management and customer stakeholders
  • working in a commercially driven organization using platforms such as salesforce.com
  • critical thinking, problem solving and hands-on mentality
  • handling confidential information e.g innovation, talent hiring volumes
  • native English writing & speaking
  • independent and strong self management skills, thinking ahead of who’s doing what and a hands-on approach to lead by example.

knowledge

  • affinity with HR/staffing/talent models
  • understanding and use of Challenger sales methodology and its application
  • thorough understanding of the sales/account management process and including result driven KPI’s/OKR’s
  • digital fluency with google or microsoft platforms e.g sheets, excel, slides etc.
  • leading and influencing teams and stakeholders

additional requirements

  • the role needs to be based in EMEA
  • travel (regional and global) is required at times and depends on group needs and events.
