Job description: Responsibilities: Prepare budgetary and firm commercial offers for Sales Team Coordinate and manage tender replies and offer submission; check for offer completeness and accuracy before submission Gather inputs to complete tasks as required from Sales Team, Commercial Manager, Logistics, Legal and Project Management Analyse customer’s technical specification/enquiry to break it down into smaller work elements for accurate cost estimation Willing to quickly learn and understand how excel templates are used by the company to perform estimations; ability to learn excel functions on his/her own to prepare basic cost simulations for management decision-making Complete cost calculation of the scope of bid required based on internal and external scopes Determine priorities and schedule proposal submissions to Sales Accurate and on-time submission of the prepared proposals Coordinate and clarify technical questions with the Technical team Track and record offer progress/changes for archive and record-keeping purposes Be a team player and individual contributor as business demands Required Skills At least two years of relevant experience in proposal management/preparation for software-related business (especially enterprise solutions proposal) Comfortable following up with cross-functional teams (technical, commercial etc.), especially with teams located overseas and in different time zones Assertiveness to ensure required inputs are received in time for preparation and submission of offers Must demonstrate the abilities to: learn and explain how software solutions business models are generally executed learn and understand new technologies and explain it at a basic level to others Willing to ask and self-learn Ability to seek out designated experts and clarify ambiguous problems/questions until sufficient clarity reached or risk is controlled Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to use company’s costing template or prepare own templates if required Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, senior management and executives and project teams Strong analytical and on the job problem-solving skills Ability to read software-related technical material and apply knowledge in work environment Must demonstrate an understanding of basic electrical systems and be willing to be up to date with Malaysia’s electrical market landscape

Expected salary: 4130 – 7200 per month
