The team enable Toll with the right technology foundations and business systems to grow the business and support our customer needs.The RoleJoin Our Team as a Project Manager-Technology Transformation!Toll Group IT is excited to be recruiting for a Project Manager-Technology Transformation to lead the development and delivery of initiatives undertaken by the Toll IT team in conjunction with the wider enterprise. You will have the opportunity to engage with key stakeholders such as the IT leadership and all areas of the Toll business to enable effective delivery and ownership of initiatives delivered and ensure a successful transition to operations.A day in the life of a Project Manager-Technology Transformation at Toll Group:

  • Consolidate plans to create a Portfolio roadmap, support yearly budget submissions, and define processes for scope management.
  • Align project schedules with enterprise timelines, manage dependencies, and influence prioritisation strategies to ensure resource allocation aligns with organisational goals.
  • Establish standards for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, ensuring scalability and consistency across portfolios.
  • Define key risk indicators, reporting standards, and advanced performance systems to provide executive-level oversight and enhance financial visibility.
  • Establish standards for budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial governance, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Define engagement strategies, manage critical stakeholder relationships, oversee resource allocation, and influence strategic planning and change management.

About You:Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline
  • Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or Prince2 Agile) preferred
  • Product management certifications (preferred) e.g. Agile Certified Product Owner

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience with IT planning and delivery of complex programs within a large-scale global organization, including exposure to transformational programs.
  • Experience building and managing multi-discipline program/project teams across global geographies.
  • Proven experience managing commercial and technical engagements with hardware vendors, and Systems Integrators, including working with 3rd party (outsourced) IT providers.
  • Experience designing and implementing business technology change plans involving large-scale technology upgrades,with an understanding of business and IT needs in logistics and transport operations (desired).
  • Planning and conducting workshops to translate business requirements into a ‘fit for purpose’ solution
  • Strategic thinking – thinks and plans strategically; Customer First; Deliver Results; Communicates Effectively; Researches the external environment; Advocate’s the customer and consumer focus; Displays integrity and ethical behaviour. Also includes excellent presentation skills to Senior Executives, creating partnerships and teamwork, applying broad business perspective, making effective assessments, and being a motivated, results-focused self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment or separately as needed
