Job description: Project Manager – SAP Public SectorLocation: Winnipeg, Manitoba – Onsite at 215 Garry StreetOur government clients Digital and Technology Solutions division, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver critical IT projects. This is a contract position with an initial 6-month term and potential extensions up to 24 months, based on project requirements.What You’ll Get

• Contract Duration: Initial 6-month term with potential renewal for up to 24 months.
• Work Environment: Onsite at a central location in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What You’ll Do

• Take primary ownership of project deliverables and provide day-to-day direction to the project team.
• Manage project scope, resources, associated work plans, and dependencies.
• Oversee the overall integration of all project teams’ work efforts.
• Ensure project teams have properly qualified resources.
• Review and approve key project deliverables.
• Expedite issue resolution and remove barriers to team performance.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, expenditures, headcount, and milestones.
• Communicate with steering committees, project sponsors, and business process owners.
• Identify, track, and report on project performance metrics.
• Facilitate effective team collaboration and decision-making.
• Plan and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

What You BringMinimum Requirements:

• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects.
• Experience managing large ERP implementation projects.
• Experience managing projects in the public sector and working on SAP projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple vendors and large system integration vendors.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently within a large-scale program.
• Expertise in project lifecycles, resource management, cost estimation, and schedule planning.
• Experience developing business cases and delivering projects aligned with overall program strategies.
• Certifications:

• Valid PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certification.
• Skills:

• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and problem-resolution abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in navigating complex project challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP project management experience in one or more of the following areas: S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors.
• Strong familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology in a hybrid Agile delivery approach.
• Solid understanding of SAP landscapes, modules, and terminology.
• Experience liaising between SAP/system integrator consultants and business SMEs.
