Job description: Overview:**This position is contingent upon contract award**SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly qualified Project Management Lead to join a program providing critical network operations and maintenance services for our government customer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) IT systems and services. Responsibilities:
Develops project plans with forecasts, estimates, and resources.
Developing and delivering project reports and communicating and coordinating team members.
Managing complex IT-projects valued over $2 million and/or affecting 1,000 or more customers in the past 10 years.
Responsible for development and implementation of assigned projects; takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Defines project scope and objectives; develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team; recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret clearance
BA/BS Degree in business, information technology or related discipline.
Twelve (12) or more years of experience in the field or related area.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
