Job description: Kum Shing has been providing cable trenching and installation services for 60% of CLP’s power network since 1998. We are seeking dedicated and experienced candidates to join our team in supporting our distribution cable trenching and laying works. This role will require hands-on supervision and coordination of these works on-site.Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors to execute the site work to be in line with the project performance pledges, health, safety, environment protection and quality standards, and ensure compliance with relevant authorities’ and client’s requirements
• Liaise with CLP, Utilities, Government parties, non-government organizations and stakeholders to enable smooth progress of on site projects
• Conduct daily site inspection / checking and implement rectification works for site defects
• Prepare and organize inspection record (i.e. video, photo, report) and submit to relevant system
• Manage the permit application process and site progress to ensure timely completion of work
• Prepare the handover report for invoicing and follow up on the payment from CLP and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Building Services or related Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, committed attitude and attention to detail
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese
• Fair command of both written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with Chinese Word Processing
• A responsible driver with valid driving licence (Class 1 & 2)
• Holder of a Construction Workers Registration Card and a Green Card
• Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered as Assistant Project Engineer
