It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 45,000 alumni around the world.The Office of Undergraduate Studies of CUHK Business School, a vibrant and energetic office, is looking for a Project Assistant II to join the team. The appointee will support the Student Development and Career Planning Team, and will be responsible for (a) organising students experiential learning activities, such as case competitions, CSR-related projects, community services, overseas study tours, etc.; (b) performing internal and external liaison work; (c) facilitating student-led and societies-led activities; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned. Duty trips may be required occasionally.Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above; (ii) Grade E / Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics; OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English word-processing skill; (iv) at least 1 year’s work experience, preferably in organising student activities at tertiary institutions; (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (vi) good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); (vii) a strong sense of responsibility; (viii) strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; and (ix) the ability to work under minimal supervision. Fresh graduates with active participation in non-academic student life are also welcome to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.Applicants must submit copies of HKCEE / HKDSE certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and/or academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.[CUHK Business School is also known as the Faculty of Business Administration.]
