Location: San Antonio, TX On-Site RequiredPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee multiple projects and orchestrate results to achieve a broad program goal. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the program from inception to delivery, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and performance metrics are met. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that stakeholder engagement and satisfaction are maintained throughout the program lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of Lean Portfolio Management, corporate privacy, and enterprise resiliency practices.Program Management:

  • Manage multiple projects, aligning them to achieve the overall program goal, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.

Develop, define, and report on the program roadmap, status, and development issues, with clear success metrics and objectives.Scheduling & Monitoring:

  • Plan and implement schedules, ensuring program milestones and timelines are adhered to. Continuously monitor program performance, identifying areas of risk and proactively addressing potential challenges.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Build, manage, and monitor program budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and alignment with the financial goals. Identify opportunities to improve cost, performance, and schedule.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring risks are effectively managed to minimize impact on timelines, quality, and performance.
  • Continuous Improvement:

Continuously seek opportunities to improve the program’s cost efficiency, performance, and delivery timelines by applying Lean principles and best practices.Trends and Business Conditions Awareness:

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, business conditions, and internal processes that may impact individual projects or the overall program. Use this knowledge to inform program decisions and adjustments.

Lean Portfolio Management (LPM):

  • Leverage Lean Portfolio Management practices to ensure the program delivers value, with a focus on aligning initiatives to organizational strategy, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining efficient delivery.

Privacy & Resiliency:

  • Understand and apply corporate privacy standards and Enterprise Resiliency practices to ensure program compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.

SAFe LPM Certification:

  • Provide thought leadership and direction on SAFe Lean Portfolio Management methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Certifications: SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in programming management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex programs.
  • Extensive experience with Lean Portfolio Management practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of corporate privacy practices, Enterprise Resiliency, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience in budget management and cost optimization for large-scale programs.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with privacy offices, data protection regulations, and enterprise resiliency standards.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and frameworks.
