Job description: Are you an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee complex, high-profile strategic programs. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of program management expertise, with a deep understanding of change management, cross-functional team coordination, and stakeholder alignment.Our client is seeking for a Program Manager and this is a hybrid position requires 3 days on-site in Toronto πŸ“ and 2 days remote each week and this is a contract position of 8 months. The role includes strategic planning, delivery oversight, and active contribution to modernization and transformation initiatives.Advantages

  • Lead strategic program planning, execution, and lifecycle delivery
  • Align program objectives with broader business priorities
  • Oversee multiple interrelated projects and ensure program milestones are achieved
  • Facilitate meetings, stakeholder sessions, and governance updates
  • Create program roadmaps, success metrics, and reporting structures
  • Implement change management strategies to overcome resistance and improve adoption
  • Develop and track budgets, resource plans, and performance evaluations
  • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations for senior leadership and committees
  • Develop and improve program processes, documentation, and standards
  • Support transformation, integration, and consolidation opportunities
  • Mentor internal staff and transfer knowledge for long-term sustainment

Qualifications
Must Have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Program Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of program scope, resource planning, and change management
  • Expertise in stakeholder communication, presentation, and facilitation
  • Proven experience resolving conflicts and resourcing issues across teams
  • Skilled in project forecasting, tracking KPIs, and maintaining documentation
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Experience with Agile delivery and government/public sector standards
  • BSc/BA in Management or relevant field
  • PMP certification is an asset

Nice to Have:
