About the RoleThis role is based in the NDIS & Strategic Projects Team in the Inclusive Education Division. The NDIS and Strategic Projects Unit leads programs and strategic projects that support current government directions and initiatives in relation to inclusive education. The Unit has a specific role in managing the Department’s ongoing relationship with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and managing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) related projects, including the department’s engagement with the NDIS Review.The Program Advisor will contribute towards the delivery of departmental programs and initiatives by providing guidance and strategic support. This work will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and respond to queries, monitoring and reporting on implementation, supporting the development of reports and briefing materials, and the preparation and sending of correspondence.Programs and initiatives supported by the Program Advisor will change to respond to the priorities of the team.
